OBJECTIVE

The project involved the replacement of three boilers (EYFS, KS1 , KS2) for our client, Archdiocese of Liverpool, with the M&E consultant being Beech Jackson Partnership. The project began in October 2022 and was completed in November 2022, with a total
value of the project ranging between £200,000 – £300,000. The objective of the project was to improve the heating system of the school, which required the replacement of outdated boilers with more energy-efficient boilers. Our team of experts worked closely to ensure that the project was completed within budget and on time. Overall, the successful completion of this project has resulted in improved energy efficiency, increased sustainability, and reduced costs for the school. Our team is proud to have contributed to this project and looks forward to continuing to provide high quality services to our clients in the future.

CHALLENGES

It was really challenging working in an operational school. As we had to ensure that the work did not disrupt the normal functioning of the school, we minimized noise levels and dust emissions. Safety was our top priority as we ensured the area was cordoned off and properly secured to prevent accidents, as all our workforce was fully trained in safety protocols. Additionally, we ensured that there was proper access to all areas of the school, so everyone could move around the school safely and without any disruption. Additionally, Athertons, In collaboration with Beech Jackson had established a compound site providing a base of operations for our workers.

RESULT

The client expressed a high level of satisfaction with the outcome of the project. They were pleased with the results that were achieved, indicating that their expectations were met or even exceeded. Additionally, despite facing operational limitations and specific requirements that posed challenges during the project, the team was able to work around these obstacles and still deliver the project on time and within the allocated budget. This demonstrates the team’s ability to overcome obstacles and find solutions to ensure the project’s successful completion.
Overall, the positive feedback from the school are indicative of the project’s success, despite the challenges and limitations that were faced along the way. It highlights the team’s ability to navigate through operational constraints and deliver a project that met the client’s expectations and requirements.
